At the Scuderie del Quirinale, from 29 July to 4 September, will be exhibited for the first time in Italy, twenty-one works (for a total of 35 pieces) ranging from the Asuka period in the seventh century to Kamamnura Period (1185-1333).
Considered cult images, most of them are difficult to transport, and also in Japan, are not easily accessible, because it exposed in the gloom of temples and shrines or protected in the collections of major national museums.
Works with a strong creative power, they speak to us of an ancient culture in a close and direct dialogue that recalls feelings and different moods, such as meditation or action, or calm the anger, fear, understanding.
