Located a few meters from the river Tevere and Ponte Milvio, here's the Foro Italico complex, which with its architecture, its name and sculptures, easily reveals the years in which it was designed and built (by Enrico de Debbio), during the fascist era, opened in 1932 under the name of Foro Mussolini.

There were built the actual palace ISEF, the Swimming Stadium, the Marbles stadium and the actual  Olympic Stadium. In front of the Olimpic stadium you can see the great obelisk dedicated to Mussolini (also known as Stele Mussolini), and from which the grand avenue entirely in black and white mosaic. Marble statues are not only around the little Marbles Stadium, and represent the different sports and was a gift of the various Italian provinces.

At the Stadium of Tennis, currently the Foro Italico hosts the International of Italy, the central area can accommodate up to 10,500 spectators.

Pools of Swimming Stadium, expanded in number over time (from the Olympic Games in 1960), today there are five, ranging in size from 25 to 50 meters, Olympic size, depending on how necessary (diving, swimming or water polo)..
