BB-Roma offers a booking service for bed and breakfasts, guest houses and self catering apartments in Rome
Despite the nature of these accommodations is now known to all here we prefer to answer the questions most frequently in these 13 years of activity, the tourist have asked.

GENERAL QUESTIONS

What differs a bed and breakfast from a self catering apartment?
The apartments are left entirely to the tourist (even if no all the bedrooms are used by the guest), have a kitchen but no breakfast (except where expressly said)
The bed and breakfast provide the rooms with private bathroom (which may be ensuite or external) or shared with other rooms. Breakfast is always included in the price (except where expressly indicated), and will be served in the way specified on the page for each property
The bed linen and bath towels are included in both types

Can I arrive at any time?
B&B and self catering apartments, not having a 24-hour reception, require to be advised about arrival time. Many accommodations require an extra cost for arrivals after 20.00.

Leaving my e-mail, can I be sure that will not be used by others for promotional offers spam or something similar?
Yes. Your e-mail will be used exclusively for the booking and will not be given to third parties, except to the owner of the accommodation booked by you (together with the other informations left), to allow a contact .

The service of the BB-Roma provides a cost?
No. All prices are the final ones, with no additional costs.
It’s not included the city tax (€ 2 per person per day for more than 10 years old guests), any parking fees, extras charge for late arrivals, for any shuttle services from the airport or for special requests such as cots for children.

What does mean minimum guaranteed price?
It means that the price published in BB-Roma is the minimum price that you can find for that accommodations, both contacting it directly or booking on other website. If you find a lower price, you can advise us and you could proceed to book with BB-Roma with the lower price you have found.

If, on arrival, I’m not satisfied about the accommodation booked by me, what can I do?
The accommodations of BB-Roma are selected on many criteria that allow us to say that you will never receive unpleasant surprises when you arrive.
If you find important differences comparing with you saw on the web site , that may affect the quiet  and the quality of your holiday, contact us as soon as possible. The owner is totally responsible. In this case, he will be required to provide an accommodation similar to what you saw in the web site, at the same price and quality.

 
QUESTIONS ABOUT RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS

Booking an acommodation have I the sureness of availability?
Yes, for accommodations with instant booking confirmation. For the others you have to wait not more than two hours (during opening time of our booking center) to have the confirmation or not.
You will also receive an e-mail that will alert you about the status of the booking, whether you have chosen to pay by credit card or bank transfer.

If I pay by credit card, I will be charged the amount provided as advance?
No, it will just be required an authorization of the amount of 30%  of the total rent price (or one night, which one of them higher)  to verify the validity of the credit card. This authorization will be removed after the check-in.


Can I book if I do not have a credit card?
Of course, you can also pay by bank transfer

Can I book if I do not have an e-mail?
Without e-mail is not possible to send the booking procedure or the confirmation voucher. In case of problems about it please contact our call center to info@bb-roma.it

I made a booking request choosing to pay by bank transfer, but before to pay I have to cancel it. What happens?
Nothing but you must advise us as soon as possible. In any case, the option expires after36 hours. After this deadline the booking request is no longer valid

I made a booking request choosing to pay by bank transfer but I can’t do it within the 36 hours as required. How can I do?
Contact us to info@bb-roma.it , so that to extend the expire time

Why for some accommodations I have to wait for two hours for the confirmation of the reservation even if I have already left the details of my credit card?
Some owners have not the chance to update the calendars in real time and prefer to be sure before accepting a reservation. The credit card will be used, according to the “Terms and Conditions of Booking” ONLY AND ONLY in the case of a confirmation of the reservation.
